As soon as I pulled into the driveway, there was a feeling of magic, peace and tranquility about this place. I knew this was the perfect place for my dog, Hawkeye. When I picked him up after a 2-week vacation, he was a much more peaceful, relaxed and "balanced" dog. I never knew or understood what balance was for a dog, but I understand it now and see what a huge difference it has made with my dog and me. I had been looking 2 years for the perfect dog for me and my other German Shepherd and I found him in Trent! He is such a gentle dog and gets along great with my other dog. When a friend of mine showed me pictures of Charlie, I feel in love with him right away. And when I met him in person, I couldn't believe what an amazing dog he was. Not only so beautiful but so smart too! And I couldn't believe when I was able to take him home the same day it was a dream come true. My husband was so sad when he lost his German Shepherd, so I knew he had to have another one. When I found Sam, I knew he would be the perfect dog for my husband and family. I got Sam as a Father's Day gift for my husband, but Sam has also given so much to my whole family. He gives me and my kids great companionship and comfort while my husband is out of town for work. While searching a replacement dog for my detection dog that was tragically killed, my heart was still broken. However,when I came across Harvest she gave me a renewed hope to get another K9 partner. She has been everything I had been searching for. She is a loyal and focused detection dog, and a wonderful member of our family that includes my young daughter and wife. My wife and I were not looking for another dog when we saw Keyno, but as soon as I saw her I feel in love. We originally adopted another Rottie from STAR K9, but due to medical special needs, we had to return him. STAR K9 was very professional in taking the first dog back, and worked with us in finding another Rottie. They found us Dylan and he is everything we had hoped for. Being my first working dog I was really nervous but excited about getting Cheyenne. She is an amazing working dog but she is so much more than that to me and my wife. She is part of our family and we take her everywhere with us. I still have a lot to learn having a working dog, but Cheyenne has already taught me so much. Trace did a great job training Cheyenne and helping me and we are so glad to have someone that has real world experience to help us become a great working team. Keith
Timber is doing great. We took him camping this weekend with us & the horses. The trail riding gives him lots of exercise! Everyone in our group loved playing ball with him. He adopted my friend, & she felt safe with him around! He has proven to be the protective guard dog we wanted! He has given us, me in particular, unconditional love and devotion! I have never had a dog so attached to me that takes every step I take. Staci and David
